Bayside Anglers Group LTD
10th Annual Little Neck Bay "Bass Beach" Clean Up.
(Crocheron Park)
Walking, Bicycle / Roller Blade Path

The Bayside Anglers Group held their 10th Annual Beach Cleanup at "Bass Beach" on Little Neck Bay Saturday April 10. The event was a huge success with over 20 cubic yards of garbage being removed from the beach. The NYC Parks Dept. provided rakes, bags, and gloves for everyone to use. "Bass Beach" is a favorite spring time bass spot and now it is a clean one. The Bayside Anglers would like to thank all the individuals who turned out to help clean the beach. A special thanks to City Councilman Tony Avella and Mrs. Avella who came down to pitch in. And thanks to R&G Bait and Tackle who supplied the 6 foot sandwich for all to enjoy and The ANGLER 1/2 day party boat in Howard Beach, Queens for donating Free trips to lucky raffle winners. Also raffled off at the event were a rod and reel combo and a spinning reel. This year the weather was on their side and after the cleanup club members fished the incoming tide for schoolie bass to 5 lb. with Club Secretary Phil Romano Landing a fine 2 lb. Flounder.
